Disqualified MNA can’t become political party’s chief: Kaira
LAHORE, SEPT 22 (DNA) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira on Saturday condemned the statement of former president Gen retd Pervez Musharraf and termed it as a malicious conspiracy against PPP.
He said that this is a false propaganda launched by the former president who has conspired against PPP before as well. “Nation is backing Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he is addressing rallies frequently and meeting party workers too,” he said.
While answering a question about approval of Election Reform Bill’s section 203, he said that he doesn’t have any information about the bill being passed by Senate of Pakistan.
While referring to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Kaira said that if somebody is not eligible to be a member of National Assembly (MNA), he should be allowed to lead a party.
