DGTO recognizes OMAP as the sole representative of Oil Marketing Sector
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 1 /DNA/ – Oil Marketing Association Pakistan (OMAP) has been recognized as the sole representative of the Oil Marketing Sector by the Directorate General of Trade Organization (DGTO), Ministry of Commerce.DGTO, which is the regulator of trade organizations, granted the license to OMAP as an Association to represent oil marketing sector on All Pakistan-basis, according to the terms of the license.
DGTO, as per its mandate, grants licenses and undertakes registration of trade bodies under the Trade Organizations Act, 2013.OMAP Secretary General Dr. Ilyas Fazil in a statement on this occasion said the Association aims to strive for ensuring the security and efficiency of supply of petroleum products, meet the right product needs, besides assuring provision of improved quality of these products to the Pakistani consumer.“OMAP and its members are guided by the Laws of the Country, mutual respect and trust, commitment to conduct business with integrity, transparency and honesty whilst adhering to the highest ethical standards,” he said.Islamabad dated September 1, 2021
