Despite of conspiracies, nation still trusts Nawaz Sharif: Maryam
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz on Friday said that despite of all the conspiracies, the nation still trusts the PML-N chief.
Sharing a Gallup Survey report, Maryam wrote that PML-N has maintained its vote bank although there were severest onslaughts against them.
Replying to a question, Maryam told that her mother’s health has improved and better.
Earlier, while conversing with anchorperson and renowned journalist Kamran Khan, Maryam said that parliamentarians voted against the Elections Bill (Amendment) 2017 and had it rejected by defeating fear and despite pressures.
Maryam asserted that institutions of Pakistan should be able to bear criticism if they are willing to bypass the laws for vengeance towards one person.
She warned that struggle of the political front against the oppression would be sped up in case Nawaz Sharif is jailed.
Maryam Nawaz paid her tribute to the Members of National Assembly (MNA) belonging to ruling PML-N for making democracy win by voting Elections Bill (Amendment) 2017 out earlier this week.
The PML-N leader hailed disqualified premier’s decision in the recent past by saying that he chose a path of struggle instead to apologising or having ‘used’ an NRO.
