While batting first, Quetta Gladiators fell on just 106 runs in 20 overs with Sandeep Lamichhane showing his class with leg-spin. His four-wicket spell rattled Quetta Gladiators’ batting line.
Lamichhane brought two early breakthroughs for Qalandars removing Shane Watson and Rilee Rossouw. Shane Watson walked off after scoring just seven while Rossouw made eight runs.
Later, Dangerous Umar Akmal also fell to Lamichhane who then hunt young Danish Aziz. The right-handed batsman made an attempt to reverse sweep the ball but failed to guide the ball properly as it went straight in the hands of leg slip.

Apart from Lamichhane, Haris Rauf took two wickets while Yasir Shah and Shaheen Afridi bagged a wicket each.

Right-handed wicket-keeper batsman Gauhar Ali scored quick 27 runs off 15 balls but couldn’t carry the momentum falling to Harry Gurney on a perfect yorker.
Later, De Villiers and Haris took their team over the victory line impressively. Fawad Ahmed and Mohammad Husnain bagged a wicket each for Gladiators.
