ATTOCK (MARCH-29): Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza on Wednesday  along with District Police Officer Attock Dr Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan while checking  the security measures have directed the officials on duty to  ensure the  timely supply of free flour to the deserving  people at all wheat flour points amid tight security cover. The deputy commissioner reviewed the security arrangements of free flour points in Attock, Hazro, Fatehjang, Hassanabdal and issued orders for further improvement.

On the occasion, DPO Attock Dr Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan said that strict security arrangements had been made due to the rush of people at the free flour points. He also directed for smooth distribution of wheat flour at their native union councils and said that female police officers had also been deployed at every point. Earlier, DC Attock Rao Atif Raza has said that the district administration is utilizing all available  resources for the distribution of free flour besides, visiting all the tehsils to take a close look at the issues related to the distribution of flour.

The District Police Officer AttockDr.SardarGhiyas Gul Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Waqas Aslam Marth and other relevant officers were also present. The Deputy Commissioner Attock along with District Police Officer Attock also took a detailed round of the mega unit and discussed the problems of flour distribution with the public.

The Deputy Commissioner Attock further said that he himself including all  assistant commissioners were monitoring the distribution of free flour to take immediate action  wherever people face any kind of problem. He said a detailed report in this regard is being sent to the concerned officers on a daily basis, he added. Meanwhile, District Police Officer Attock Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan also inspected the cameras installed in thebuilding of police station Attock Saddar as well as in  prison cells.According to police spokesman Mr. Shehroz Khanzada, DPO Attockalso checked the records, warehouse, armoury and cleanliness of the police station besides reviewing the cases under investigation through online records at the front desk. DPO on the occasion ordered to resolve the cases as soon as possible.

He instructed all the police officers including SHO Anwarul Haq to solve the problems of the people coming to the police station immediately and treat them with utmost courtesy.  The District Police Officer Attock Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan also advised the police to protect the life and property of the citizens by taking action against the criminals being the first priority of Attock police, he added.
