ISLAMABAD, AUG 4 /DNA/ – Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design is proud to announce Cultural Color – Season 5, a prestigious cultural and fashion showcase scheduled to take place on 27 August 2026 at Serena Hotel Islamabad. The event aims to celebrate Pakistan’s diverse cultural heritage while promoting international cultural exchange through art, fashion, music, and diplomacy.

The central theme of this year’s event is Balochistan, highlighting the province’s vibrant traditions, craftsmanship, and cultural identity. Students from the Fashion Department of Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design will present original designer collections inspired by the rich heritage of Balochistan. Through these cultural garments, the students will pay tribute to the province’s unique embroidery, textiles, colors, and artistic traditions while promoting Pakistan’s cultural diversity on a national and international platform.

The event will also feature captivating Balochi cultural dance performances, followed by a special classical sitar performance presenting traditional Balochi melodies. The musical segment will be performed by renowned Pakistani musician, composer, and writer Mr. Wajih Nizami, whose performance will celebrate the timeless beauty of Balochi musical heritage.

The overall fashion concept and creative direction of Cultural Color – Season 5 has been designed by Ms. Sidra Tul Muntaha, Head of the Fashion Department at Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design, whose vision reflects the institute’s commitment to preserving cultural traditions through contemporary fashion education.

The event is being organized in collaboration with leading government institutions, including the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, Lok Virsa, Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), and the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC). These collaborations reinforce the shared commitment to promoting Pakistan’s cultural identity, tourism, heritage preservation, and creative industries.

Beyond celebrating Pakistan’s heritage, Cultural Color – Season 5 will serve as an international platform for cultural diplomacy. Students will also showcase creative fashion collections inspired by the national animals and national birds of various countries, reflecting themes of unity, mutual respect, and intercultural understanding. The initiative aims to encourage cultural exchange between Pakistan and the international community while strengthening educational and diplomatic engagement.

The event will bring together diplomats, government officials, representatives of cultural organizations, members of the diplomatic community, artists, designers, educators, students, and distinguished guests. Through fashion, art, and cultural expression, participants will engage in meaningful dialogue that promotes global friendship, youth empowerment, tourism, and international collaboration.

The national and international vision behind this initiative is being led by Syed Usman Tahir, Advisor to the Federal Culture, Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, and CEO of Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design. Under his leadership, the institute continues to create platforms that connect education, culture, diplomacy, and the creative industries while showcasing Pakistan’s positive image to the world.
