CPEC to be protected at all cost, says Army Chief Raheel Sharif
ISLAMABAD, JUL 28 (DNA) – Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has said China, Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) shall be protected at any cost adding Pakistan and China are tied in strong bonds of friendship.The army chief made these remarks while speaking on the occasion of the 89th Anniversary of the Founding of Chinese People’s Liberation Army.He further said Pakistan and China are close allies in war against terrorism also and both countries have been cooperating with each other to root out menace of terrorism.
General Raheel Sharif also valiant struggle of armed forces of Pakistan against war on terror and assured the nation that all no stone shall be left unturned in this regard.
Raheel Sharif congratulated the Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong and the Defence Attache Major General Qi Huajun on the celebration of the 89th anniversary with the hope that relations between the two countries will grow in even in the prospect.
The Chinese Defence attaché in his speech lauded Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism and assured China will continue to be partner of Pakistan in all such endeavours. =DNA
