COVID cases resurface across the country

ISLAMABAD, MAY 29 (DNA): Renowned infectious diseases expert Dr. Faisal Mehmood on Thursday warned that COVID-19 is once again spreading across the country.
While talking to a private news channel, he said that the virus is now generally seen as a mild viral infection, and he advised the public to remain cautious and follow basic preventive measures to stay safe.
He said that patients arriving at hospitals generally have mild symptoms such as fever, cough, cold, body aches, and, in some cases, difficulty breathing.
Dr. Faisal urged the public to take precautionary measures, including wearing masks in crowded places and washing hands thoroughly with soap.
He advised that anyone experiencing a worsening fever or cough should get tested immediately.
Dow Hospital is receiving 8 to 10 patients daily with symptoms of COVID-19, while more than 50 patients suffering from respiratory illnesses are reporting to the emergency rooms at Jinnah and Civil Hospitals, he added.
