Court indicts Mishi Khan in fraud case
RAWALPINDI: Actress and TV anchor Mishi Khan was indicted in a case of criminal breach of trust by an additional district and sessions court here on Wednesday.
In July 2015, Dr Afshan had hired Mishi to run an advertising campaign for her clinic and had paid her Rs450,000 via cheque. Dr Afshan contended the actress had taken the cheque but did not do the campaign.
A First Information Report was filed against the actress in Rawalpindi’s New Town police station.
Civil judge Kashif Javed Wednesday indicted the actress for criminal breach of trust. Mishi, who was represented by her lawyer Advocate Raja Nazir, denied all charges against her.
