Constitutional Amendment Bill to be presented in Senate today
ISLAMABAD, DEC 11 (DNA) – The Constitutional Amendment Bill 2017 will be presented in Senate (Monday) after Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) gets agree on delimitation act.
According to details, PPP’s four conditions were approved by the authorities due to which the party expressed support to the bill.
The Upper House will meet at 3:00p.m while the session of the Lower House will begin at 4:00 p.m. Both the Houses will also discuss important matters of national and international importance, besides legislative business.
Earlier, NA passed the constitutional Amendment Bill 2017 with two third majority in meeting held under the supervision of Speaker Ayaz Sadiq. The bill seeks delimitation of constituencies based on census result.
