Combing operations underway in various blocks of Lahore’s Defence area
LAHORE, FEB 24, (DNA) -The atmosphere of Defence Z-block in Lahore remained gloomy and tense on the second day of the blast on Friday.
Business activities have been suspended in the Y and Z blocks.
According to Superintendant Police Cantt Rana Tahir, the nature of the blast will be ascertained after thefinal report of Punjab forensic science laboratory.
On the other hand, combing operations are underway in various blocks of Defence and houses are being searched.
Security is at high alert in the city.
A large number of injured are under-treatment in various hospitals. The Thursday blast killed at least eight people and injured more than 30.
