COAS visits Rajgal, says over 90pc area cleared in Op Khyber-IV
RAWALPINDI, AUG 05 (DNA) – On his visit to Rajgal Valley, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said Operation Khyber 4 has successfully cleared over 90% of the whole area from terrorists.
He acknowledged that Pakistan Army rose to the expectations of the people of Pakistan, according to Inter-Services Public Relations.
He praised the brave soldiers and officers who took part in Operation IV which is the part of nationwide Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad to eradicate terrorism from the country.
COAS praised the valour of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for targeting terrorist hide outs and destroying their camps.
While addressing to the soldiers, he said Pak Army aims to restore the supremacy of law and writ of the state. “We are on the path of prosperity and peace with the cooperation of nation,” he stressed.=DNA
