COAS meets Afghan envoy to discuss regional security
RAWALPINDI, SEPT 20 (DNA) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday met with Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Omar Zakhilwal. The meeting was held at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
A number of issues including steps for peace and stability of the two countries were discussed in the meeting.In an earlier meeting held on August 2, the two brought under discussion matters pertaining to mutual interest especially border management following Herat mosque bombing in Afghanistan.
