QUETTA, MAR 04 (DNA) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa will meet tribal leaders during his visit to Balochistan, media cell of Pakistan Army said on Sunday.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the army chief will overview Khushhal Balochistan initiative apart from the security situation in Gwadar and Turbat during his two-day visit to the province.
Last year in December, the COAS had attended a seminar titled ‘Human Resource Development for the Youth of Balochistan’ in Quetta where he said, “Tomorrow’s Balochistan will be engine of national development effort and invaluable link from north to south and also to west.”
He had pointed out that Pakistan is incomplete without Balochistan, adding that the country cannot progress without peace and stability in the province.
“Patriotic Baloch continue to reintegrate voluntarily with mainstream society rejecting foreign-sponsored terrorism in Balochistan,” said the ISPR press release.
