Clean-chit to Imran proves Nawaz’s unjust judicial treatment: Maryam
LAHORE, DEC 15 (DNA) – Maryam Nawaz, daughter of disqualified premier Nawaz Sharif has said on Friday that the verdict of the top court on petitions against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and secretary general Jahangir Tareen proves that president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was served an unjust verdict.
Maryam stated her remarks on Twitter after Tareen was disqualified today while Imran Khan was acquitted in corruption probes.
She stated that the verdict today proves partial accountability towards Nawaz Sharif and that residential permit (iqama) was a mere reason, the purpose was to oust Nawaz Sharif.
She claimed that there is no two ways about it that all the sit-ins and conspiracies were hatched to oust Nawaz Sharif.
Reaction of the PML-N leader has come in hours after Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) disqualified Tareen while acquitted Imran on petitions filed by PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi around a year ago.
