How a clay pot can help you beat the heat

Using clay-pots for drinking water is out of fashion these days but the traditional way of storing and drinking H2o still has a number of benefits.
Dr. Mubashira, said that the clay pitcher can replace the water filters at your house but can help you overcome water retention and save you from constipation.
“You will have to boil the water but the clay pitchers make your water alkaline,” said the doctor.
The alkaline clay interacts with the acidity of water and provides the proper pH balance.
She also informed the guests and viewers of the show that small size earthen pots can help them beat the heat if their house roofs get heated by the sun during the heatwave.
“Scattering them side by side on your roof will cool it (the roof),” said Dr. Mubashira.
Scientists also say that clay pots transfer the chill to the water based on the climate. This quality of a clay pot is unique, and no other container has the same quality.
