CJP takes notice of torture on Norwegian women
ISLAMABAD, April 20 (DNA): Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of the torture of Norwegian ladies at Islamabad Airport.
The notice was taken on a news item published in a section of media highlighting that two female Norwegian Nationals of Pakistani origin were allegedly beaten and tortured by Immigration staff over a petty issue at Islamabad Airport.
The Chief Justice has sought report from Secretary Interior and Secretary Aviation within three days.
It may be mentioned here that a few days ago some FIA women security staff misbehaved with these women. The matter came to limelight when the video was put on social media and people demanded an immediate action against those security women involved in this incident.=DNA
