CJP directs authorities to restore old Kutchery in Multan
MULTAN, DEC 21 (DNA) – The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has on Thursday directed the authorities to restore old Kutchery in Multan, and to provide complete facilities in new judicial complex within three months.
The chief justice held an open court in Multan regarding the matter of judicial complex to listen the problems of lawyers. Justice Saqib Nisar commented that the new judicial complex has been made in haste in open fields without any facilities.
The CJP reprimanded Lahore High Court Registrar Syed Khursheed Anwar Rizvi over submission of false report, and inquired that where will the advocates sit if it starts raining.
Let it be known that that it was the eighth day of the lawyers’ strike in Multan today who had refused to end the sit-in until the fulfilment of their demands. They had asked to restore old judicial complex and to release their arrested companions.
