Christian Colony terrorist attack: 4 facilitators arrested
PESHAWAR, SEPT 4 (DNA) – Security forces arrested four suspected facilitators in terrorist attack targeting Christian Colony from Mohmand Agency overnight.
Forces arrested the accused in a search operation in Corona area of Mohmand Agency as they made headway in investigations into Mardan and Christian Colony attacks.
The arrested include Shahid, Aijaz, Zia-ur-Rehman and Zia Muhammad. They have been transferred to an unknown location for further questioning.
Security forces had foiled an attack in Peshawar’s Christian Colony on Friday, killing all four suicide bombers. A civilian and Levies personnel were killed in exchange of fire.
A few hours later the same day, at least 13 people were killed and 35 injured when two bomb blasts hit the District Courts in Mardan. The attacker first threw a hand grenade and then detonated his suicide vest at the entry gate of the district and sessions court. =DNA
