Chinese provinces donate Rs. 100 million PPEs to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, MAY 13 (DNA) – Chinese provinces, demonstrating their strong support to Pakistan in its fight against COVID-19 epidemic, donated personal protective equipment (PPE) worth Rs. 100 million.
The PPE articles have been donated by Chinese provinces Shandong, Jiangsu and Ningxia, reports Gwadar Pro.
Chinese Counsel General in Lahore Long Dingbin and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar received a flight carrying the equipment (PPE) at Lahore Airport.
The donation include protective suits, N-95 and surgical masks, gloves and disposable medical protectors for medical professionals and janitorial staff engaged in the battle against coronavirus.
The chief minister said the donation reflected strong Pakistan-China brotherly relations, adding that China had always helped the Pakistani nation in every hour of trial.
Long said Pakistan was a trustworthy friend of China. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, Pakistan and China have been supporting each other in the crucial time, reflecting the deep-rooted friendship between the two countries.
Through jointly fighting against the pandemic, the Pakistan-China all-weather strategic partnership of cooperation will be further enhanced.=DNA
