ISLAMABAD, FEB 26 – Justice Javed Iqbal, Chairman NAB chaired a meeting to review the performance of NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) especially conviction made under Section 10 of National Accountability Ordinance (NAO)-1999 during the year 2018 to 2020 at NAB Headquarter. During the meeting Brig (R) Farooq Naser Awan DG NAB KP informed that during the year 2020, following persons were convicted by respected Accountability Courts under section 10 of NAO-1999.

1.      State Vs Jamil Ahsan, accused Rashid Jamil was convicted by the Accountability Court on 03.03.2020 with a fine of Rs. 18,840,000.

2.      State Vs Allauddin, accused Allauddin was convicted by the Accountability Court on 21.12.2020 with a fine of Rs. 16,708,809.

3.      State Vs Gul Hameed, accused Gul Hameed was convicted by the Accountability Court on 19.03.2020 with a fine of Rs. 10,000,000.

4.      State Vs Yousaf Ali, accused Yousaf Ali was convicted by the Accountability Court on 27.02.2020 with a fine of Rs. 17,700,000.

DG NAB KP also informed the meeting that during the year 2019, due to the efforts of NAB KP following persons were convicted by respected Accountability Courts under section 10 of NAO-1999.

1.      State Vs Muhammad Sheraz, accused Nadeem Shad was convicted by the Accountability Court on 09.08.2019 with a fine of Rs. 45,823,400.

2.      State Vs Khalid Saleem, accused Samiullah was convicted by the Accountability Court on 13.12.2019 with a fine of Rs. 1,300,000.

3.      State Vs Khalid Saleem, accused Fazal Qadeem was convicted by the Accountability Court on 13.12.2019 with a fine of Rs. 1,300,000.

4.      State Vs Sher Jan & Zahidullah, accused Sher Jan was convicted by the Accountability Court on 31.05.2019 with a fine of Rs. 9365500.

5.      State Vs Sher Jan & Zahidullah, accused Zahidullah was convicted by the Accountability Court on 31.05.2019 with a fine of Rs. 9365500.

6.      State Vs Murid Kazim & others, accused MuridKazim was convicted by the Accountability Court on 20.02.2019.

Similarly in the year 2018, following persons were convicted by respected Accountability Courts under section 10 of NAO-1999.

1.      The State Vs Mumtaz Ali Khan, accused Mumtaz Ali was convicted by the Accountability Court on 06.11.2018 with a fine of Rs. 24,018,000.

2.      The State Vs Mumtaz Ali Khan, accused Munir was convicted by the Accountability Court on 06.11.2018 with a fine of Rs. 24,018,000.

3.      The State Vs Mumtaz Ali Khan, accused Asad Javed was convicted by the Accountability Court on 06.11.2018 with a fine of Rs. 24,018,000.

4.      The State Vs Mumtaz Ali Khan, accused Akbar was convicted by the Accountability Court on 06.11.2018 with a fine of Rs. 24,018,000.

5.      The State Vs Muhammad Irfan, accused Muhammad Irfan was convicted by the Accountability Court on 08.06.2018 with a fine of Rs. 52,060,222.

6.      The State Vs Muhammad Irfan, accused Qazi Wajidullah was convicted by the Accountability Court on 08.06.2018 with a fine of Rs. 52,060,222.

7.      The State Vs Abdul Nasir, accused Abdul Nasir was convicted by the Accountability Court on 12.01.2018 with a fine of Rs. 1,102,800.

8.      The State Vs Farhad Sajid, accused Ghulam Muhammad was convicted by the Accountability Court on 12.05.2018 with a fine of Rs. 1,600,000.

9.      The State Vs Farhad Sajid, accused Shoukat Ali was convicted by the Accountability Court on 12.05.2018 with a fine of Rs. 1,600,000.

10.  The State Vs Farhad Sajid, accused Abdullah Jan was convicted by the Accountability Court on 12.05.2018 with a fine of Rs. 1,600,000.

11.  The State Vs Muhammad Saeed, accused Muhammad Saeed was convicted by the Accountability Court on 15.09.2018 with a fine of Rs. 10,000,000.

12.  The State Vs Mehmood ul Hassan & others, accused Usman was convicted by the Accountability Court on 16.02.2018 with a fine of Rs. 3,848,750.

13.  The State Vs Mehmood ul Hassan & others, accused Roshandin was convicted by the Accountability Court on 16.02.2018 with a fine of Rs. 3,848,750.

14.  The State Vs Ayaz ul Haq, accused Ayaz ul Haq was convicted by the Accountability Court on 17.03.2018 with a fine of Rs. 15,000,000.

15.  The State Vs Qazi Abu Bakar & others, accused Qazi Abu Bakar was convicted by the Accountability Court on 18.09.2018 with a fine of Rs. 9,809,000.

16.  The State Vs Qazi Abu Bakar & others, accused Abdul Basit was convicted by the Accountability Court on 18.09.2018 with a fine of Rs. 9,809,000.

17.  The State Vs Neelam Pari, accused Neelam Pari was convicted by the Accountability Court on 21.07.2018 with a fine of Rs. 2,607,000.

18.  The State Vs Neelam Pari, accused Iftikhar Hussain was convicted by the Accountability Court on 21.07.2018 with a fine of Rs. 2,607,000.

19.  The State Vs Gulzar Ali, accused Gulzar Ali was convicted by the Accountability Court on 21.12.2018 with a fine of Rs. 286,000.

20.  The State Vs Waqas & Others, accused Abdullah was convicted by the Accountability Court on 23.07.2018 with a fine of Rs. 8,843,333.

21.  The State Vs Niamat Khan & Naeemullah, accused Naeemullah was convicted by the Accountability Court on 14.03.2018 with a fine of Rs. 883,916.

22.  The State Vs Adil Khan, accused Adil Khan was convicted by the Accountability Court on 27.09.2018 with a fine of Rs. 169,550,000.

23.  The State Vs Muhammad Usman & another, accused Muhammad Usman were convicted by the Accountability Court on 31.07.2018 with a fine of Rs. 2,000,000.

24.  The State Vs Noor Muhammad, accused Noor Muhammad was convicted by the Accountability Court on 20.10.2018.
