ISLAMABAD, JUL 30 (DNA)- Ch. Pervez Elahi is going to get an important post in the Punjab Assembly. He has hinted at vacating the national assembly seats.

Ch. Pervez Elahi, according to sources, was offered key ministry in the Federal government however Ch. Pervez Elahi said he would rather like to stay in Punjab.

According to sources, Ch. Pervez Elahi may be made Speaker of the Punjab Assembly or Senior Minister in the Punjab cabinet.

Sources further said, Ch. Pervez Elahi wanted to the Chief Minister of Punjab however PTI leadership did not agree to this proposal.

It is now expected that Ch. Pervez Elahi may be made Speaker of the Punjab Assembly or Senior Minister. Ch. Pervez Elahi told PTI leadership that since he has done a lot of work in Punjab therefore he would like to serve in the Punjab.

Monis Elahi will contest from Gujrat while for Cahkwal seat Ch. Shujaat Hussain will announce a candidate soon.=DNA
