Ch Nisar steps in as PML-N infighting worsens ahead of LB polls

LAHORE, 21 OCT (DNA) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday has geared up to resolve the clash within Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) as infighting worsened ahead of local bodies elections.
The party claiming for unity and peace in the country is currently facing intensive situation due to internal strife over various matters. According to a private television channel, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif went on air and said he has not been on terms with Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for the past three to four years.
Retorting on which, the Interior Minister claimed that he can approach General Headquarter (GHQ) at his own without seeking assistance from Khawaja Asif. Separately, Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Alil earlier declared Rana Sanaullah an assassin and denounced the incumbent Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif, saying that the CM has failed to oversee the matters of Punjab effectively.
In a reaction, Rana Sanaullah bashed Abid Sher Ali and stated that he must be going through some mental disorder or may be getting sentimental over his son s mayorship concern. On the other hand, a tussle between Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Anjum Aqeel has added fuel to the fire.
Earlier, Railway Minister Saad Rafique and Information Minister Pervez Rashid willingly mediated to resolve the issues but afterwards they stepped back, transferring the task to Chaudhry Nisar. DNA
