CDA’s library made operational after 30 years
ISLAMABAD, JAN 06 (DNA) – On the directions of Mayor Islamabad and Chairman, Capital Development Authority (CDA) Sheikh Anser Aziz the CDA Library has been made functional after 30 years.
The up-gradation and renovation of the Library has been carried out without any additional expense of the Authority.
CDA Library has not only been upgraded and renovated but more books on literature, history and Islamic books have also been added to the existing stock. Furniture of the Library has also been upgraded in addition to the provision of adequate lighting system. It has been ensured that people visiting this library could be provided with peaceful and pleasant atmosphere.
Member Administration, CDA Muhammad Yasir Peerzada has said all possible steps would be taken to promote library culture in the Federal Capital.
He said that more books on different subjects would be added to the Library so that not only employees of the CDA but residents of the city could also get benefit from the facility. He said that in order to promote literary, cultural and traditional activities in the Capital City, CDA would utilize its all available resources.=DNA
