CAS-Serena Hotels Int’l Squash Championship concludes

ISLAMABAD: CAS- Serena Hotels Men & Women International Squash Championship 2023, concluded with great success at the Mushaf Complex in Islamabad.
The tournament saw among the players from Pakistan, Malaysia, Egypt, Hongkong and Spain. In the Men’s final, Noor Zaman ranked 112 in the world, secured victory with an impressive performance against the runner-up Asim khan who held the 72 in world ranking. In the Ladies final Amina El Rihanny from Egypt played against Nadien El Hammamy and won the title of Women’s Squash Championship final.
The prize money for the men’s championship was USD 1805 for the winner and USD 1140 for the runner-up, while the prize money for the women’s event was USD 902 for the winner and USD 570 for the runner-up.
The Guest of Honor at the closing ceremony was the Air Marshal Irfan Ahmed Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), who expressed gratitude to Serena Hotels for hosting the International Squash Championship. PSF Secretary Amir Nawaz commended and acknowledged the steadfast support of Serena Hotels in fostering sports development in Pakistan. He also extended congratulations and appreciation to the players from around the world for their participation.

Serena Hotels under its Sports Diplomacy Initiative actively supports, facilitates, and sponsors a multitude of sporting events, demonstrating their steadfast commitment to promoting and nurturing various athletic endeavours.
