Buzdar reviews steps being taken for prevention of coronavirus in province
Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar chaired a meeting of Cabinet Committee on Corona Control in Lahore and reviewed steps being taken for the prevention of Corona virus in the province.
During the meeting, Chief Minister has given in principle approval to purchase corona vaccine at a cost of 1.5 billion rupees.
He also gave approval in principle for recruitment of vaccinators and data entry staff .
Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said immidiate steps should be taken in a transparent manner for procurement of vaccines as per rules and regulations.
He said elective surgery has been stopped in hospitals while 50% staff is only allowed to attend the offices.
He said every possible step will be taken to ensure oxygen supply in hospitals and ensure availability of oxygen cylinders at fixed rates.
He said Anti-Corona SOPs will be strictly enforced in the province.
