Butcher rates for Eid-ul-Adha 2025 – check out here
LAHORE, JUN 6: With Eid-ul-Adha falling tomorrow in Pakistan, butchers in Lahore have completely halted new bookings as demand peaks and slaughtering rates skyrocket.
Residents across the city are facing difficulties in securing butchers for the religious sacrifice, as most bookings have already been filled—some even made months in advance.
According to local sources, the cost of slaughtering a goat on the first day of Eid has risen sharply to between Rs8,000 and Rs10,000, depending on the area and timing. For larger animals such as cows and camels, the rates have reached an all-time high, ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs50,000.
