Bulgarian ambassador visits PARC
Islamabad, DEC 1 /DNA/ –A meeting between Irena Gancheva, Bulgarian Ambassador in Islamabad; and Dr. Ghulam Ali, Chairman Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) was held on 1st December 2021 at PARC Headquarters, Islamabad. During the meeting, Irena Gancheva, Bulgarian Ambassador congratulate Chairman PARC, Dr Ghulam Muhammad Ali and Pak-Bulgaria avenues of collaboration in agriculture sector were discussed.
The Chairman PARC thanked the honorable Ambassador for paying visit to PARC in order to initiate Pak-Bulgaria cooperation in agriculture sector, which would be mutually beneficial for enhancing food security and alleviating poverty. Dr. Falak Naz, Member Coordination and Monitoring Division and other high officials of PARC were also present in the meeting.
It was agreed to sign the MOU covering important areas of agriculture, such as Germplasm sharing, Farm mechanization, Livestock breed improvement and high value horticulture crops framework for bilateral cooperation between the sides. The Ambassador thanked Chairman PARC, for extending support for fruitful cooperation.
