MIRPURKHAS, JAN 30, (DNA) – A fire-brigade driver is being hailed as a hero after he intentionally crashed his own vehicle to save 15 school children from a fatal accident in Mirpur Khas.

According to details, a qingqi rickshaw carrying school children, suddenly drove in front of a fire tender on the road.  Muhammad Yaqoob, the driver of fire tender, demonstrated mental alertness and crashed his own vehicle into pavement to save children.

The fire-brigade vehicle turned turtle and driver Muhammad Yaqoob and firefighters Abdul Rashid and Ibrahim Sheedi sustained critical injuries. They were shifted to civil hospital.

Meanwhile people gathered at the spot were all praise for the driver for saving children from serious harm and potential death.=DNA
