Blood donation camp held in Attock
ATTOCK, SEP 12 (DNA) — While addressing the participants the experts urged upon the youth to come forward and fulfill their human responsibility for donating fresh blood. This was told in a blood awareness session was organized under the auspices of Life Care Welfare Foundation at Degree College Attock, which was attended by health experts, social figures, and students in large numbers.
On this occasion, renowned physician Dr. Mian Rashid Mushtaq, while addressing the participants, said that donating blood is in no way harmful to human health. In fact, this act not only saves the lives of others but also has positive effects on the donor’s own health. He said that if someone wishes for their memory to live on forever, they should donate blood and save lives.
Dr. Mian Rashid Mushtaq further stated that history bears witness that humanitarian and philanthropic personalities like Abdul Sattar Edhi always remain alive in the hearts of people because they devoted their lives to the service of humanity. Addressing the ceremony, Life Care Welfare Foundation CEO Muhammad Talha also spoke to the participants.
He said that his foundation is constantly striving to create awareness among the public so that blood donation can be normalized, and patients in hospitals or emergencies do not face difficulties due to shortage of blood. He urged the youth to come forward and fulfill their human responsibility by donating blood. — DNA
