KARACHI, 30 DEC (DNA) – Thew Sindh government has imposed section 144 in Karachi under which pillion riding, one-wheeling and riding motorcycles without silencers is banned for two days starting on the eve of new year.

The ban will be effective from December 31, 2015 to January 01, 2016. The Sindh Home Department has issued a notification in this regard to maintain security on the new year eve.

During the two-day ban pillion riding, aerial firing, display of arms, removal of silencer of motorcycles and one-wheeling of bikes would not be allowed under Section 144. DNA
