ISLAMABAD, MARCH 23 (DNA) -IlhamAliyev President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has congratulated President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi on the occasion of Pakistan Day.

In a letter written to President of Pakistan, the Azerbaijani President said, “on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my heartiest congratulations to You and to Your people on the National Day of Your country – Pakistan Day”.

He further said that the present level of relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan that are bound with the ties of traditional friendship and brotherhood is gratifying.

“I am confident that our strategic partnership, particularly the cooperation within the framework of Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement, will serve further the interests of our countries and peoples”.

“On this notable day, I wish strong health to You and success in Your endeavors, and tranquility and prosperity to the brotherly people of Pakistan”.  =DNA
