Azerbaijan ambassador delivers lecture at Bahria Varsity
ISLAMABAD, APR 14 (DNA) -Azerbaijani ambassador to Pakistan Ali Alizade has given a lecture on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Azerbaijani diplomacy at Bahria University in Islamabad.
He provided an insight into the history of emergence as well as the mission and goals of the Azerbaijani diplomacy, and the development of the Azerbaijani statehood.
The ambassador also highlighted the restoration of independence, problems faced by Azerbaijan in the early years of independence, national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role in preserving and developing the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as President Ilham Aliyev`s services in elevating the country`s development to a new level.
Alizade also hailed relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. “Pakistan was one the first countries to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan. Our countries always support each other,” he said.=DNA
