Ayaz expresses grief over gas cylinder blast in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, Jan 11 (APP):Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Sunday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic gas cylinder explosion in Sector G-7, Islamabad, which claimed several precious human lives.
In a statement, the Speaker said that he was deeply saddened to learn about the loss of lives caused by the gas cylinder blast during a wedding ceremony.
He extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families, saying that the entire nation stands with the affected families in this hour of grief.
Ayaz Sadiq termed the increasing incidents of gas cylinder explosions as highly alarming and stressed the urgent need for strict measures against the unsafe use of gas cylinders.
He emphasized that relevant authorities must ensure strict implementation of safety regulations related to the transportation, sale, and use of gas cylinders to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
The Speaker also prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace and for the bereaved families to be granted patience and strength to bear this irreparable loss.
