Auditor General presents report to President

ISLAMABAD, APR 10 (DNA): Auditor General of Pakistan Javed Jehangir called on President Arif Alvi in Islamabad on Wednesday and presented his organization’s annual report.
The President appreciated the performance of the Auditor General Office saying the department is doing a national service by promoting transparency.
The President stressed that the Auditor General office should employ latest techniques to make the audit process more effective. This, he said, will help save the national exchequer from losses.
President Arif Alvi said that action against corrupt elements is important for the country’s development.=DNA
