Arrangements finalized for cycle race

LAHORE, 26 DEC (DNA) – All the arrangements were finalized for the conduct of open cycle race to celebrate the Birthday of Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam schedule to be held On Sunday.
The road race Inshallah will be peddle off on Sunday the 27th December , 2015 at 9.00am from Punjab Stadium Ferozepur road a towards Kalma Chowk, Muslim Town Canal and turn from Herbancepura canal through under passes (FC, Jail Road, Mall Road, Darampura, Mughalpura) and will terminate at FC College police Choki to celebrate the Birthday of Father of nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
In these races everybody under the age of 20 years having ordinary cycle can participate and after the every race the winner will be given cash Prize also.
The race will flag off by Mr. Muhammad Saleem Butt former President of Pakistan Cycling Federation. Ch.Kamran Amin President Punjab Cycling Association will be the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony and give away the cash awards prizes to the winners of the Race.
Punjab Cycling Association already has announced the schedule of Road cycle races for the Promotion of Game of Cycling in Punjab. In the continuation of these roads cycle races will be concluded at last week of April 2016 on every Sunday. We announced that a cyclist who will win the three consecutive road cycle races will be give a new motor bike.
While at the end of April 2016 best cyclist who will win the ten consecutive races will be awarded a small Suzuki car. Mr.Muhammad Akram former Internatioal Cyclist has been nominated as Chief Judge, Mr.Qaisar Saddique Bhatti has been nominated as Chief Coordinator and Syed Nazakat Ali Former International Cyclist / Coach will be General Manager of the Race.
The interested cyclist can register his name to the organizing secretary before the start of the race. DNA
