Army shifts 528 persons to safer places

MULTAN: Multan Corps soldiers of Pakistan Army shifted 528 flood victims to safer places during relief operations thorough helicopters in flood hit areas of South Punjab.

According to a release issued by ISPR Sunday, the army provided free medical treatment facilities and medicines to 234 flood affected people at army medical camp Layyah besides distributing ration among the flood hit families.

Pak Army jawan also rescued four out of six children who drowned near Fakhar Bund Rajanpur in DG Khan area. The Armydivers fished out the bodies of the drowned kids from flood water.

Free medical check-up and medicines facilities were also provided to 225 flood hit people at Army free medical camp Rajanpur besides distributing ration.
