RAWALPINDI, AUG 24 (DNA) – General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited formation Headquarters at Gilgit, on Saturday.

COAS laid floral wreath on Shahadua monument.

Addressing formation  officers and troops COAS  appreciated their state of readiness and moral despite challenges of weather, terrain and the enemy at the highest battlefield of the world.

COAS said that we are alive to threat from Eastern Border linked to ongoing situation in IOJ&K and fully prepared to thwart any misadventure or aggression.=DNA
