Amir Muqam chairs meeting regarding state properties of AJK
ISLAMABAD, Jul 23 (APP/DNA): Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Engineer Amir Maqam here on Tuesday chaired the meeting regarding Azad Jammu Kashmir state properties.
Secretary Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Wasim Ajmal Chaudhry, Additional Secretary Syed Khalid Gurdizi, Joint Secretary Muhammad Hamid Khan and Administrator Jammu and Kashmir State Properties attended the meeting, said a press release.
The minister directed the officers concerned to prepare a feasible and comprehensive plan for maximum utilization of the properties of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
He stressed the need for comprehensive strategies to ensure the protection of these assets and their effective utilization in the interest of these areas and its people and added that the rent of all properties should be re-evaluated.
Amir Muqam directed the administrator to make a comprehensive plan in consultation with the Secretary of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Earlier, the administrator informed the meeting about the steps taken on the instructions of the federal minister in this regard.
