Ambassador Yousaf Junaid visits Governor Ankara
ANKARA, FEB 11 /DNA/ – Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkiye Dr. Yousaf Junaid visited Governor Ankara Vasip Sahin at Ankara Governorate today.
The purpose of the visit was to convey heartfelt condolences and handover relief items collected by the Pakistani Embassy staff.
While expressing Pakistan’s solidarity with the brotherly people of Turkiye, Ambassador stated that the entire Pakistani nation is in distress over this catastrophe. Hearts of Pakistanis beat with hearts of Turkish people, he added.
Ambassador conveyed good wishes of the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the earthquake affectees and stated that the Prime Minister had establish a special fund to ensure timely assistance to Turkish brethren undergoing the most challenging time of their lives. He underscored that the Government of Pakistan as well as Pakistani people stand with Türkiye in this testing time.
