ISLAMABAD, AUG 13 /DNA/ – Akamatsu Shuichi, the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Government and the people of Pakistan on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on August 14.

In his video message, Ambassador Akamatsu said “ My dear Pakistani friends, heartiest congratulations to all of you on Pakistan’s Independence Day. Japan stands side by side with you for a strong and prosperous Pakistan. Happy Independence Day to all of you. Long Live Japan-Pakistan Friendship”

To mark this special festive occasion, Japanese and the Pakistani staff of the Embassy sang the iconic national song of Pakistan “Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan” to express their joy and solidarity with the people of Pakistan celebrating Independence Day festivities.=DNA
