Ambassador Khalid H. Memon awarded with the Polish award
ISLAMABAD, MAY 07 (DNA) –The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Islamabad Piotr Opalinski decorated Khalid Hussain Memon, former Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Poland, with the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. The award was given 0n the 3rd May Constitution Day of Poland.
The award is awarded to him by Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, for his outstanding contribution to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between the Republic of Poland and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the ceremony, Zaheer A. Janjua – Additional Foreign Secretary of Pakistan – appreciated the achievements of diplomatic service of both countries in enhancement and intensification of multifaceted relations and economic exchange between Poland and Pakistan in recent years.=DNA
