Ambassador of Japan, Tajikistan bid farewell to friends
ISLAMABAD, JAN 9 (DNA) – Outgoing ambassador of Japan Takashi Kurai hosted a reception at this residence to bid farewell to his colleagues and friends.
The Japanese ambassador has been posted out to Ukraine.
Ambassador Kurai while speaking on the occasion thanked his colleagues and friends for extending him support during his stay in Pakistan.
He said he enjoyed his stay in Pakistan. “I normally do not host a farewell reception upon completion of term, but the love and affection I got from the Pakistani people and friends forced me to host a farewell”, he added.
Ambassador Takashi Kurai said during his stay in Pakistan he tried his best to contribute to promotion of bilateral relations.

Meanwhile, the diplomatic community also hosted a farewell reception for the outgoing ambassadors of Japan and Tajikistan, separately.
The ambassador of Tajikistan in his address also thanked his colleagues for their support during his tenure in Pakistan.
He said during his six years term he tried his best to promote and strengthen relations between the two countries.
During his tenure significant progress was made on CASA 1000 energy project apart from visits of various high level delegations.
Ambassador Sherali delivered an emotional speech and said he will never forget time spent in Pakistan. “Pakistan is a great country gifted with great people and I will miss my stay in Pakistan”, he added.=DNA
