Aleem Khan summoned by accountability watchdog over ‘offshore assets’
LAHORE, FEB 26 (DNA) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan at its Lahore office, along with all details of his offshore company allegedly established in tax havens abroad.
The PTI leader has been asked to appear before the NAB investigators over providing contradictory information with regard to his foreign company.
According to the anti-graft watchdog, Aleem is the sole owner of Hexam Investment Overseas Limited, an offshore company. The PTI leader is expected to submit more details of his offshore company with the NAB during his appearance today.
Making a response on NAB summons, Aleem Khan’s spokesperson said Aleem will be accompanying a lawyer during his appearance before the anti-graft body’s investigators.
Aleem had earlier appeared before the NAB on February 23 and submitted the details about his offshore company.
