RAWALPINDI, SEP 11 /DNA/ — Al-Mustafa Trust held its annual fundraising dinner on September 10, 2026, at Galaxy Hall in Topi Rakh, Rawalpindi, at 8:00 PM. Affluent and compassionate men and women from the twin cities attended in large numbers and generously extended financial support to the Trust, demonstrating a remarkable spirit of philanthropy and care for the poor.

The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Colonel Zafar Ali Sufi, followed by a Naat of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) presented by Muhammad Naeem Mirza. A documentary film was then screened to provide a brief introduction to the Trust.

Afterwards, the Trust’s Chairman, Lieutenant General Muhammad Mustafa Khan (Retired), highlighted the Trust’s performance with the help of slides.

Following the Chairman’s address, the Master of Ceremony, Brigadier Muhammad Sarfraz (Retired), invited the Trust’s founder and patron, Lieutenant General Ghulam Muhammad Malik (Retired), to speak. Addressing the attendees, General Ghulam Muhammad Malik first thanked Allah Almighty, who granted acceptance to all of the Trust’s endeavors and blessed it with immense growth, so that today we see it expanding across the length and breadth of the country.

He also praised the performance and selfless hard work of all the Trust’s workers, directors, and trustees, and prayed for the Trust’s further progress.

Al-Mustafa Trust, imbued with the spirit of service, formally began its journey under the leadership of Lieutenant General Ghulam Muhammad Malik (Retired) 28 years ago, on September 5, 1998. Named after an attribute of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), the Trust’s mission is to provide free basic healthcare facilities to deserving patients and to establish medical centers and modern laboratories staffed by expert doctors in numerous urban and rural areas of the country.

To provide quality treatment by good and capable doctors to people crushed under the millstone of poverty, the Trust began its journey with a small dispensary. Allah Almighty blessed the selfless and sincere efforts of its management with the Trust’s acceptance, and today, by the grace of God, through its 53 medical centers, dispensaries, and mobile dispensaries, this Trust is providing quality treatment, free medicines, and testing facilities to 1.8 million poor and needy patients annually at 102 locations across the length and breadth of the country.

Al-Mustafa Trust is a duly registered institution approved by the Government of Pakistan, and its annual audit is conducted by an internationally renowned firm. The Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy, in its detailed report, praised the Trust’s enviable performance and awarded it 93 percent points, which is a living proof of the Trust’s strong management and governance. All senior management officials of the Trust, including the Chairman, perform their services voluntarily solely to seek the pleasure of Allah, in the spirit of serving humanity.

All medical centers of Al-Mustafa Trust are equipped with highly capable doctors, nursing staff, pharmacy, ambulance, ECG, ultrasound, X-ray, and laboratory facilities, while specialist doctors for cardiology, chest, skin, pediatrics, and gynecology, as well as psychological issues, are also available at the central centers, rendering services with utmost dedication.
