Additional Sessions Judge Tahir shot dead in Rwp
RAWALPINDI: An additional sessions judge was shot dead in Sadiqabad area of Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
According to initial details, unidentified men opened fire at Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Khan Niazi outside C-B Judicial Colony, injuring him critically.
Niazi was taken to Benazir Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Soon after the incident, senior lawyers and police officials reached the hospital.
His body has been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for a post-mortem.
Rescue and security personnel personnel reached the site of attack and cordoned off the area as investigations into the incident are underway.
