Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan arrives in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Mr. Abdulaziz Kamilov, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan has arrived in Islamabad along with a 5-member delegation.
The Uzbek Foreign Minister will have a one to one meeting with the Foreign Minister of Pakistan in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs followed by delegation level talks.
He will also call on the Prime Minister of Pakistan. This will be the Uzbek Foreign Minister’s second visit to Pakistan this year.
Pakistan and Uzbekistan enjoy a close and cordial relationship founded in mutual trust and understanding and augmented by strong cultural and religious affinities. Bilateral collaboration in different sectors has been growing steadily.
The visit of the Uzbek Foreign Minister will contribute to increased mutual cooperation on the bilateral and regional fronts. It would also reinforce Pakistan’s endeavours to deepen its engagement with Uzbekistan and build a strategic partnership with the country.=DNA
