PM felicitates govt, people of Turkey on Republic Day

ISLAMABAD, OCT 28 (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has felicitated the government and people of Turkey on the Republic Day.

The Prime Minister said people of Turkey rejected imperialism and colonialism. He said our forefathers also gave support to Turk brothers in their national struggle.

Prime Minister said this while speaking on the Occasion of 95th Republic Day of Turkey.

PM said it gives me immense pleasure to felicitate the people and government of Turkey on the auspicious occasion of Turkey’s ninety-fifth Republic Day.

 The historic proclamation of Turkey as a Republic marked the rejuvenation of a nation that refused to bow down before the forces of colonialism and imperialism.

Turkey’s courageous stance resonates till today with freedom loving people the world over.

It is a matter of great satisfaction that our forefathers stood with their Turkish brothers and sisters during their national struggle.

Our Turkish brethren have similarly stood by our side, during every moment of challenge and difficulty. This legacy of mutual support stems from a deeply held and assiduously nurtured friendship rooted in common denominations of history, faith and culture.

Pakistan takes great comfort in contemporary Turkey’s many achievements. Under farsighted Turkish leadership, Turkey has made multiple strides in diverse fields. And Pakistan and Turkey’s unmatched friendship has happily gained strength and substance.

It is my great hope to see our bonds continue to grow from strength to strength, and for Pakistan-Turkey partnership to deliver even greater dividends for our two brotherly countries and their peoples.=DNA

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended felicitation to the government and people of Saudi Arabia as the Kingdom celebrated its 94th National Day on Monday, marking the unification of the country by the late King Abdul Aziz in 1932. Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Saudi Embassy to mark the special occasion in the diplomatic enclave.
