Guests gather at President House for Imran Khan’s PM oath taking ceremony
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan will be sworn in as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan (Saturday).
President Mamnoon Hussain will administer the oath of office to Imran Khan as Prime Minister of Pakistan at 10:00am at a ceremony to be held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr (President House).
The invited guests, which include politicians, cricketers and celebrities, have begin to gather at the venue.
Those present at President House include Chiefs of the three armed forces, PTI vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former Indian cricket star Navjot Singh Sidhu, cricketer-turned-commentator Rameez Raja, newly elected Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, singers Salman Ahmed and Abrarul Haq, actor Javaid Sheikh, former National Assembly speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza among others.
