Group impersonating security personnel busted

MULTAN, JUL 13 (DNA) – Multan police have arrested a group of impersonators named Sajjad (Police Constable) and Abdullah Khalid posing themselves as police cops.
According to the sources, an FIR has been lodged against them at Mumtazabad Police Station, Multan. Police sources said the arrested suspects were involved in various heinous crimes including impersonation as officers of sensitive organization and conning money out of innocent people.
Moreover, police have also been in contact with Saleem Sherazi from whose family they conned money Rs 500,000.
Police are also trying to arrest other members of their gang i.e, suspect Shoukat r/o Sialkot and suspect Amir r/o of Sargodha involved in same activities with the said case.
They were using fake names as Col Amir, Maj Taimur and Capt Sibt-e-Hassan to do the fraudulent activities.
Meanwhile, Khushab police have successfully apprehended Amir Saeed Khan wanted by Multan police in a case of impersonation and various fraudulent activities and was part of an organized gang. He was operating by the name of Col Amir Khokhar.
Two members of his gang were previously apprehended by Multan police. Khawar Sajjad, alias Maj Taimur, and Abdullah Khalid Awan, alias Capt Sibt-e-Hassan, were apprehended from Multan.=DNA
